\n\n

LCS has been going strong for ten years now and to mark such a historic achievement, game developers Riot teamed up with LCS to honor some of the names that have made it possible to come so far.

\n\n

\n\n

A round-up of the best of the best, as it were, was put to the vote and some of the game's most famous players made the cut. The online ballot was held between the14th and the17th of August, 2022.

\n\n

\n\n

There are no surprises concerning the inclusion of some of the well-known names. An example is Jeong “Impact” Eon-young, who besides being one of the greatest top laners to play the game, also has the silverware in his cabinet to back it up. He is joined by Yiliang “Peter” Peng in the same category.

\n\n

\n\n

When it comes to the title of best mid-laner, it surely belongs to Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg whose exploits are legendary among those who follow the game.

\n\n

\n\n

The Complete List

\n\n

\n\n

The full list not only included the names we mentioned above, but also some other great players who have achieved so much for the LCS over the past 10 years. A total of ten players made the final cut, and they are:

\n\n

\n\n\n\n

While every name on that list surely deserves to be there, it was important to come up with an overall winner. That distinction went to Bjergsen, who was closely followed by Doublelift as runner-up and Impact in the third position.

\n\n

\n\n

Choosing the “GOAT”

\n\n

\n\n

The choice of who is the greatest of all time is purely subjective, especially in such a complex game as LoL, where even seemingly small contributions can have a massive impact on the overall results.

\n\n

\n\n

In the end, it was Bjergsen's six titles and four MVP awards that proved too good to ignore, especially considering that his form never wavered even when playing internationally.

\n\n

\n\n

If it wasn't going to be him the Doublelift would have walked away with the spoils. He has managed to rack up an impressive 11 titles throughout his career. However, during that time, Doublelift has only been awarded the MVP award once, with Bjergsen regularly out-performing him.

\n\n

\n\n

Some Great Talent on the LCS Roster

\n\n

\n\n

The key takeaway from this year’s vote was a sudden realization of the wealth of talent that has graced the LCS over the past decade. With the level of competition continuously improving every year, one can only wonder what the next decade will bring.

This year did not bring good news for the super-teams in the professional League of Legends scene, especially for Team Liquid.

\n\n

\n\n

Despite having a 2022 LCS roster packed with award-winning veteran players, including superstars from North America and Europe, Team Liquid's attempt to secure a victory in the spring and summer games didn't pay off.

\n\n

\n\n

While Liquid had hoped to be the NA super-team ahead of the North American World Championship, a less-than-spectacular failure kept them out of the renowned LCS event.

\n\n

\n\n

The result was very different from what Liquid promised: There is no qualification for League of Legends Worlds 2022.

\n\n

\n\n

You might know from our article about the Vitality roster, that big names and excessive spending might not be enough to lift the trophy. Let’s look at how the project went wrong.

\n\n

\n\n

A Disappointing Performance After Budget Problems

\n\n

\n\n

Through an announcement on Twitter, Team Liquid CEO Steve Arhancet confirmed what many expected: the LCS roster would be changed before the 2023 season.

\n\n

\n\n

Before the revealing news, Arhancet apologized to fans for the team's disappointing performance this year.

\n\n

\n\n

While the CEO hoped to create what would likely be the best roster North America had ever seen while the region was hosting the event, the organization's excellence and legacy took a hit.

\n\n

\n\n

Arhancet said creating the lineup involved a multi-stage, time-consuming process and required a large budget.

\n\n

\n\n

Partners and interested parties committed to the project, knowing its importance and the investment made.

\n\n

\n\n

However, all the money the franchise put into the project wasn't enough to keep it afloat. As a result, the experiment failed and was disappointing, putting the super-teams' future in doubt.

\n\n

\n\n

What Happened to the All-star LCS Roster?

\n\n

\n\n

With a mix of North American veterans and superstars from Europe, Team Liquid's LCS roster was the most promising this season.

\n\n

\n\n

All the players had experience in national and international events. In fact, each member had already made it to the LoL World Championships with their respective teams.

\n\n

\n\n

However, many consider individual brilliance to have trumped the synergy a team needs to pull off a win.

\n\n

\n\n

As a result, the team failed to win any national titles in either the summer or spring or secure their long-awaited spot as one of three representatives at the LCS World Championship.

\n\n

\n\n

Now, Liquid doesn't trust the super-team formula for 2023.

\n\n

\n\n

Team Liquid Rebuilding: Times Are Changing

\n\n

\n\n

While the organization expects to duplicate the "successful" areas, the concept of building super-teams is no longer considered reliable.

\n\n

\n\n

Team Liquid hopes to build its players using the existing structure instead of the super-team formula, abandoning it almost entirely.

\n\n

\n\n

Arhacent did not elaborate on how Liquid planned to change its lineup or reveal which players were leaving or staying.

\n\n

\n\n

However, the Academy team had a good year, winning the NA Academy Summer Split.

\n\n

\n\n

Liquid's Academy team also took the LCS Proving Grounds' first place during the spring and summer.

\n\n

\n\n

According to multiple sources, prominent North American player Søren 'Bjergsen' Bjerg is leaving Team Liquid after a year and will be a free agent starting in 2023, considering LCS and LEC offers.

\n\n

\n\n

Other insiders say Jo "CoreJJ" Yong-in is the only player in the starting lineup to move from Liquid's main team to free agency during the offseason.

\n\n

\n\n

The rest of the players, except for Steven "Hans Sama" Liv - who will be until 2024, signed with the franchise until 2023.

\n\n

\n\n

In either scenario, a significant roster change must include trades with other teams or contract transfers.

\n\n

\n\n

Final Thoughts

\n\n

\n\n

Due to the game's nature, a team in any League of Legends tournament has little to no chance of winning unless players work as one, which Rogue has proven in 2022 as they emerged victorious when no one believed in them. The collapse of Team Liquid is proof of that fact.

\n","2022-11-22T14:49:30.979Z",{"id":"82","title":"84","sanitized_title":"85","createdAt":"86","updatedAt":"86"},{"id":"89","title":"8a","sanitized_title":"8b","content":"8c","category":"82","image":"8b","lang":"4w","createdAt":"8d","updatedAt":"8d","Blog_category":"8e"},"4347","One for the Underdogs as Rogue Finally Wins the LEC","one-for-the-underdogs-as-rogue-finally-wins-the-lec","

Every sporting discipline of gaming tournament has that one team that everyone agrees is great, but by some twist of fate, it has never won any significant silverware. In the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), Rouge was that team.

\n\n

\n\n

Rogue is a brilliant group of young players that counts Odoamne, an LoL veteran and fantastic player as one of its team members. However, despite his obvious talents and the incredible support unit that he has, Odoamne was yet to taste ultimate victory in the LEC.

\n\n

\n\n

Before reading, you might want to learn about what competition Rogue had to overcome as this years has been one of the most stacked years of the LEC, where on paper most teams could have been contenders for the trophy!

\n\n

\n\n

That is until one amazing Sunday, on the11th of September, 2022 when everything changed.

\n\n

\n\n

It Took Three Attempts but They Got It!

\n\n

\n\n

Over the years, Rogue has always played well in the LEC but for some reason has always been defeated by the tournament’s eventual winners. This was their third appearance in the final, with their veteran player Odoamne having played in this tournament for seven years.

\n\n

\n\n

However, the third time was really the charm in this case, with Rogue digging deep to overcome a very resilient and talented G2 team, the reigning champions who surprised everyone when they smashed the LEC last season. That magical night in Sweden will forever remain in the hearts of Rogue fans around the world.

\n\n

\n\n

Winning the LEC Wasn’t Smooth Sailing

\n\n

\n\n

In typical Rogue fashion, the team certainly didn’t make things easy for themselves in this year’s LEC tournament. Arriving on the back of a fairly decent league run that saw them rack up 11 wins and seven losses, no one would have backed Rouge for the title.

\n\n

\n\n

Rogue went into the tournament with a fresh-faced team of players, including Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos and Kim "Malrang" Geun-Seong, a former DAMWON KIA substitute jungler.

\n\n

\n\n

At first, the addition of the new players did not seem to be the best solution for Rogue, as they struggled to a narrow victory over the MAD Lions before being outclassed by eventual runners-up G2.

\n\n

\n\n

The result of this painful defeat was that the only way to the championship was by defeating Fnatic, one of the powerhouses of Europe. After such as dismal showing against G2, no one really expected the clash to end in any other way but with a resounding victory for Fnatic.

\n\n

\n\n

However, the LEC world was in for one of the upsets of the tournament after Odoamne managed to rally his troops and launch a massive assault that would eventually see them taking down Fnatic in a memorable 3-1 victory.

\n\n

\n\n

The victory earned Rogue a rematch with G2, and this time the underdogs came prepared. Drafting Comp and Malrang proved to be a great decision after all as the pair dealt blow after blow to the G2 side. Rouge eventually walked away as 3-0 winners and LEC champions for the first time!

\n\n

In the meantime, the world renowned team, TSM has been through arguably its worst season in organizations history.

\n\n

\n\n

The Prize –1st Seed at the 2022 LoL World Championship

\n\n

\n\n

This year’s prize pool at the 2022 LEC was a cool US$79,999.68, a worthy amount for any champion. However, the chance to be1st seed in the ongoing LoL 2022 World Championship has the potential to be a lot more valuable. Only time will tell how well Rogue can make use of this advantage.

TSM (Team SoloMid) had a poor performance in the 2022 LCS (League of Legends Championship Series) Spring Split, and it’s been the talk of the gaming world for a few weeks now. In a sense, TSM is at the bottom in standings after the heartbreaking defeat of GG (Golden Guardians) in Week Two, Day Two of the playoffs. Off the Rift TSM also had troubles as their founder and owner Reginald has been investigated for abusive workplace behavior.

\n\n

\n\n

It sits at the bottom along with its archrivals called CLG (Counter Logic Gaming). This is the worst LCS season in TSM history, and this organization has now gone without a single win for the first two weeks of any season.

\n\n

\n\n

In December 2021, TSM said it was sticking with Mingyi Spica Lu and the top-laner Heo Seung-hoon during the 2022 season. They’re the only players from the roster in 2021 to be retained.

\n\n

\n\n

TSM announced that Edward Tactical Ra is set to join the team. He was the former attack damage carry player for Team Liquid. The organization also said it was bringing in two Chinese players (Wei Shenyi Zi-Jie and Zhu Keaiduo Xiong) to round out the roster.

\n\n

\n\n

Barnburner and Golden Guardians

\n\n

\n\n

Team SoloMid faced off with Golden Guardians for the second day of Week Two in the LCS Spring Split for 2022. Both of the teams were at 0-2, and Golden Guardians got two consecutive wins to come out on top.

\n\n

\n\n

The match was all cat-and-mouse when the teams struggled to win. After a 42-minute brawl, GG broke the TSM nexus. However, no one predicted that GG might win after the first minute because the team got pushed behind the TSM lines after invading the enemy jungle.

\n\n

\n\n

Still, as the match progressed, both teams were close in terms of kills and gold advantage. Overall, GG secured the dragon soul. Anytime TSM went toward a neutral map objective, GG took away part of the base.

\n\n

\n\n

As the final blow, TSM tried breaking open the GG base with the Elder Dragon but lost.

\n\n

\n\n

Recap

\n\n

\n\n

The LCS began on February 5, 2022, with TSM head-to-head against EG (Evil Geniuses), which took second place for the Lock-in Tournament.

\n\n

\n\n

However, TSM’s roster didn’t participate in that tournament because of travel-related problems and visa issues.

\n\n

\n\n

In the opening match for the Spring Split, EG won. TSM had an underwhelming performance, which continued into the second day of the first week when it lost to Dignitas.

\n\n

\n\n

Week Two held high hopes for TSM to win against the Golden Guardians and FlyQuest. However, that didn’t happen.

\n\n

\n\n

Despite those four losses (back to back), TSM had some promising moments during the tournament. In the match with Golden Guardians, it picked up objectives and closed the gap while performing well in team fights.

\n\n

\n\n

The top-laner, Huni, said he expected TSM to struggle during the Split and come back strong in the summer. He said his team had fewer hours to practice and many language barriers but was sure to make it. Playing top without a good jungler can be difficult, DuoQ boosting helps you win your lane with the support of an experienced booster player at your side.

\n\n

\n\n

Conclusion

\n\n

\n\n

While TSM didn’t fare well and kicked off the worst LCS season in TSM history, it hopes to break its losing streak for Week Three when it goes up against Cloud9 and Immortals.

Playing Wild Rift can be very fun if you know how to choose your champion. This article gives you what you need to know on the matter.

\n\n

\n\n

What Is It?

\n\n

\n\n

If you’re in the world of gaming, you might have already heard about League of Legends: Wild Rift. This videogame is an online multiplayer arena game, and it’s the sequel to the well-known League of Legends, which came out in 2009.

\n\n

\n\n

In League of Legends: Wild Rift, one of the most important parts of playing is choosing the correct champion. This game is all about players assuming the role of an unforeseen ‘summoner’ who controls the mentioned champion, and this is why picking the best one is essential.

\n\n

\n\n

Since choosing the perfect champion is crucial when you’re playing LoL: Wild Rift, a tier list might allow you to know what you need before deciding.

\n\n

\n\n

The Wild Rift tier list includes all the champions in the game, and they are organized depending on how convenient they might be for you.

\n\n

\n\n

Even though a tier list sounds like the answer to all your questions, you should keep in mind that it can change with time. In other words, the current tier list might eventually be different because the characters’ relevance and convenience might switch.

\n\n

\n\n

Knowing which champions are the best, largely depends on how well they can merge with some items and characters. Therefore, it doesn’t have to do with mechanical skills only, which is another reason why having a tier list is essential.

\n\n

\n\n

What You Must Know about Wild Rift

\n\n

\n\n

League of Legends: Wild Rift is a free-to-play game, and just like League of Legends, it’s from Riot Games.

\n\n

\n\n

In terms of the number of players who play it, League of Legends is currently the most famous multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). To be able to learn a lot about the game quickly mane people choose WR coaching as an easy alternative to spending hundreds of hours on the game without any guarantee that they would become considerably better.

\n\n

\n\n

Even though it has also gained a fair number of negative comments due to some toxic players, it continues to be one of the best options you can go for if you want to play with others in an online arena.

\n\n

\n\n

The Tier List for 2022

\n\n

\n\n

Although tier lists change, the one for 2022 consists of different categories that you should keep in mind. Take a look at them:

\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\n\n

Now that you understand the different tiers, check out the list for 2022. Remember – you can always choose your own champions or even make your list!

\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\n\n

Conclusion

\n\n

\n\n

There are multiple champions to choose from when you’re playing Wild Rift. Therefore, having a tier list is immensely convenient. The easiest way to climb to your dream rank is still hiring a professional player to boost your account quickly and efficiently while you can sit back and relax. You can make your own and choose the perfect character the next time you play, so use this one as a guide if you want!

It's crazy to think about how Valorant went from being pretty much nothing to the public just under half a decade ago to climbing the ranks to become the most prominent competitive FPS out there. Read our article about the new Valorant agent: Deadeye The game has seen showings at numerous worldwide events, meaning there has been no shortage of talent coming out and showing what they can do. Of this crop, who has proven to be the best? cNed How can you discount a guy who can defend an entire push singlehandedly? With Acend, he has already been a part of the winning teams at the EU VCT Stage 1 Masters and Valorant Champions. You know that you're a menace in a game when you drive fear into opponents, so much so that entire strategies are created just to deal with you. In fact, many of these strategies boil down to avoiding cNed completely. He’s literally the Minato of Valorant right now. TenZ TenZ currently plays with Sentinels, though he began his time Valorant with Cloud9 Blue. This fragger’s strength comes from his unpredictability. Typically, at the top level, you expect certain kinds of structured plays, but TenZ throws the rulebook out the window. He is an incredible duelist (and he clearly lives for the duels) and his reaction speed is next level. No matter who you are, if you run into TenZ using Raze, Jett, or Reyna, it's likely over for you. TenZ is also giving advice about the game on his stream to help players improve. If you are even more dedicated to bettering your skills in Valorant, coaching is a more advanced option for you. nAts So, nAts is a bit of an interesting one. Playing Viper and Cypher, you'd expect that he would thrive only in the supportive role. Don't get things wrong here, he very much does that well. However, not many support players can feel like such a one-man army and sweep up all the kills in a given game. He's not necessarily aggressive, but he knows how to pick his moment incredibly well, striking opponents down unawares. SicK SicK’s strength lies in his versatility. There is no doubt that he stands out the most as a duelist, but he can be whatever his team needs. You may see him playing Sage, Sova, or even Phoenix. Those who have been following his esports career know that this is not his first rodeo as a dominant FPS player. Before this, he made quite the name for himself in the CS:GO arena. The Sentinels found a high utility player here, and you need only review footage of his Phoenix in tandem with TenZ’s Jett to see how much of a monster the pairing can be. If you are tired of doing your weeklies over and over again, hire a dedicated player to complete the Valorant challenges for you! Delz1k Delz1k, a player known for Viper, Astra, and Brimstone play, rounds out this list. Like nAts, you would assume that he generally plays a supportive role based on his characters of choice. Again, he can be as supportive as his team needs and he’s great at it. However, what he's known for is his insanely aggressive style that makes use of inhuman reactions and split-second decision-making. Final Remarks This is by no means an exhaustive list. There are certainly honorable mentions including Chronicle, ScreaM, Leaf, and Yay. You have no shortage of talent to get excited about in upcoming competition. If you are new to valorant we recommend starting with Agents which are easy to learn, to give yourself some time to get used to the game.

Team Vitality is certainly looking to take the LEC by storm, reinforcing this notion with the official reveal of its roster for the upcoming season. The suspicions were there based on leaks, which sparked a variety of rumors, and these were clearly rooted in truth.

\n\n

\n\n

The Roster

\n\n

\n\n

So, who is this super team that Team Vitality has managed to put together? Just in case you haven't already heard the news, it consists of Perkz, Alphari, Selfmade, Carzzy, and Labrov.

\n\n

\n\n

These are all amazing players, but Alphari and Perkz, who just returned from his succesfull C9 journey arguably have a lot more to prove than the other three. Clearly, Team Vitality it isn't playing around, but this whole shebang may not turn out as well as expected.

\n\n

\n\n

The Big Concern

\n\n

\n\n

When you hear a series of big names being put together, the initial thought is probably along the lines of “the opponents are not going to know what hit them.” However, if G2 Esports’ 2021 super team was anything to go by, that's not always the case, though they did manage to fund success for their team next year.

\n\n

\n\n

G2’s turn of events isn't even the first example of this problem, which you can break downbje into the hype and the personalities.

\n\n

\n\n

The Hype

\n\n

\n\n

The hype train is undoubtedly one of the biggest challenges in this kind of environment. You already know that the fans expect dominating performances from a team consisting of all these names.

\n\n

\n\n

Unfortunately, not everyone is conditioned to deal with that kind of pressure. Bear in mind that even with a fairly good season, if such a team is not winning absolutely everything, it's not seen as a success in the eyes of the hype-fueling public.

\n\n

\n\n

What does this mean? Well, for many teams that have found themselves in this situation, they simply crumble under the pressure. That's not to say Team Vitality can’t find itself in the minority that delivers and then some.

\n\n

\n\n

The Personalities

\n\n

\n\n

This is probably the bigger part of the concern. After all, if a team dynamic is well established, there's no reason why it can't hunker down, shake off the jitters created by public hype, band together, and let the skills do the talking.

\n\n

\n\n

The problem here is that it requires personalities that gel well. One of the challenges with high-profile players is often a lack of humility or comradery. The prevailing belief is that Alphari and Perkz in particular are going to be butting heads quite a bit.

\n\n

\n\n

Selfmade’s name has also been thrown into the hat, based on how he's believed to see himself.LoL Smurf accounts are a popular choice for players who are looking for a new challenge.

\n\n

\n\n

Think about this. Selfmade and Perkz being a jungle and mid, respectively, need to enable their teammates for this whole arrangement to work out. Unfortunately, the jury is still out on the extent to which that's going to happen.

\n\n

\n\n

There is no doubt that if all the team members can put the good of the team before themselves, their skills should take them to the top. How likely is that to happen though?

\n\n

\n\n

Final Remarks

\n\n

\n\n

Team Vitality certainly built anticipation with the way it delayed the announcement, so much so that some fans were underwhelmed.

\n\n

The 24-year-old League of Legends player, Rookie, hails from South Korea. In his history, Rookie gained prominence for his mid-lane skills on the once notable team known as Invictus Gaming. Over the years with Invictus Gaming, Rookie showed off how valuable he can be to any team lucky enough to snag him up.

\n\n

\n\n

This past December, the team of Victory Five was that lucky. Rookie was picked up by Victory Five, landing Rookie residency in the LPL. While not his first time in the LPL, this will be Rookie's first one since 2014, not a part of Invictus Gaming. Are you looking for the legendary Ig skins, but can’t allow yourself to buy enough RP? With a gifting service you can now get the skins of your dreams!

\n\n

\n\n

Now living in China with his teammates, Rookie and Victory Five entered the LPL 2022 Spring Season.

\n\n

\n\n

Once a joke to the rest of the LOL community, Victory Five has never been able to break through the rankings of the LPL. After a record-breaking loss rate in 2020, leaving Victory Five with only one game win the entire LPL 2020 Sprint Split, the team is determined to make the change.

\n\n

\n\n

Last year has been dominated by EDG, but this year, thanks to the strong team they've built, including Rookie, Victory Five currently stands at number five in the rankings. The team is right behind Weibo Gaming only behind because Weibo Gaming has played one more game. Victory Five is four places behind this season's leader of LNG Esports. They currently qualify for the playoff happening after Week 9 in March. The team will need to keep that momentum up for the next five weeks.

\n\n

\n\n

Right now, Victory Five is on the road to the playoffs for the first time, as only the top ten teams will qualify. The team's choice of signing on Rookie to the team plays a vital part in their success. Unfortunately, Rookie's former team of Invictus Gaming is not in the ranking to go to the playoffs this year. Possibly due to the loss of a strong player. Winning your games is always important, though Rookie outperformed everyone during the regular split, he couldn’t ensure that they shine in playoffs however, you can indeed make sure that you win all of your games with the ranked win boosting services.

\n\n

\n\n

Rookie himself has become the standout of Victory Five's new line-up, bringing them to win 11 out of 18 games and has helped the team win five out of the six series.

\n\n

\n\n

As the only mid-lane player on the team, Rookie has proven extremely valuable. He has played in every game that Victory Five has entered this season. His overall win rate is 61.1%, and he has played the champion Victor the most during this LPL tournament. Rookie’s win rate with Victor is at 83.3% percent.

\n\n

\n\n

The strong mid-lane gameplay of Rookie has not gone unnoticed. He has earned himself the title of Man of the Game for five games out of the six that Victory Five has played. Currently, he stands at number two with four other players for the LPL Spring 2022 season's MVP award.

\n\n

\n\n

Going into Week Five of the LPL 2022 Spring Season, Rookie is looking stronger than ever, and likely, he can carry the whole team to might triumph after devasting losses in the team's tragic past. The question is, can he keep up his win rate and help pull Victory Five to the top of the championship in the face of other great teams like Royal Never Give Up and EDward Gaming?

This is proving to be yet another great year for G2 Esports, after a historic win against Rouge, in the final game of the League Of Legends European Championship 2022 Spring play-offs. Moreover, this win saw G2 being crowned champions of Europe for a record 9th time and solidifying their position as the most decorated team in the history of the tournament.

\n\n

\n\n

After defeating longtime rivals Fnatic 3-0 in a thrilling, one-sided semi-final clash, G2 Esports carried their momentum straight into the finals. With such a boost of confidence, and a star-studded team, G2 was simply no match for Rouge, and the latter was quickly dispatched 3-0 to end their hopes of lifting the European Championship Trophy. Are you jealous of G2 yet? Don’t worry, you can have your placement matches played by a professional and always place on the top!

\n\n

\n\n

To make the victory even sweeter for G2, they played these play-offs finals in front of a live crowd. Quite different from when they lost last year's final, which was played during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic. Whether having the presence of the crowd had any effect on the team is anyone's guess, but they certainly appreciated having their fans cheering them on.

\n\n

\n\n

The LEC Spring Finals Game

\n\n

\n\n

In typical G2 fashion, the team started the game with the confidence and single-mindedness that fans have come to expect from them. Right from the start, Rouge was in trouble. G2 started the game on the red side, and immediately ran the tried and tested Ahri-Jarvan IV combination that they used, to overwhelming success, against Fnatic in the series semifinal.

\n\n

\n\n

Rouge tried to counter with a matching mid lane but their inability to control the bot lane proved to be their undoing. G2 Esports' rookie starlet duo of Raphael "Targamas" Crabbe and Victor "Flakked" Lilora were just too good at controlling the bot lane for Rogue, and G2 was able to secure a quick succession of fights.

\n\n

\n\n

The Rouge Comeback

\n\n

\n\n

There was a ray of hope for Rouge in game three, which they started very well. They had 12 minutes of complete domination thanks to the heroics of Malrang, who went on an impressive killing spree.

\n\n

\n\n

Things looked good for team Rouge until Targamas rallied with a moment of magic for G2. His quick and brutal triple kill put a stop to Rouge's advance and suddenly G2 was back in control. On the other hand, with ranked win boosting services you’d never have to worry about losing a game again!

\n\n

\n\n

Trust in CaPs

\n\n

\n\n

G2 Esports legend caPs proved once again why he is such an important player for the team. The 2022 Spring playoffs was yet another chance to prove why he is widely regarded as one of the best to ever play the game.

\n\n

\n\n

His complete domination of games on Ahri was a pleasure to witness, for example when he destroyed Rogue with an 8/0/4 (kill/death/assist) ratio, which earned him the MVP award. You can now experience what it feels like playing with a mid-laner who completely outclasses the opposition by signing up for a DuoQueue boosting service.

\n\n

\n\n

Conclusion

\n\n

\n\n

Next up for G2 Esports is the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational where they will battle it out with 10 other teams for the crown. G2 will be joined by some of the best teams around, such as the Istanbul Wildcats, and DetoNatioN FocusMe, as they set forth to reclaim the title in Busan, Korea. Judging by their performances in Europe, G2 should fancy their chances against the Asian giants.

\n\n

Meanwhile the equivalent NA organization TSM is struggling with several problems as they don’t only place at the bottom of the LCS but also get backlash for internal issues.

Yone is a challenging antagonist in LoL, and players often want to defeat him but don’t know how. This article includes what you should know to kill him and make sure that he doesn’t get rid of your team!

\n\n

\n\n

Calm Down

\n\n

\n\n

Becoming too aggressive is immensely common when you face Yone in the lane. However, you should take a deep breath and take things slowly, otherwise, you might not get the outcomes you want.

\n\n

\n\n

Yone has a lot of tricks up his sleeve, for example, he can teleport to his original cast location. Consequently, you should never try to force things.

\n\n

\n\n

To kill him, wait until he activates his E ability, do some damage, and wait again (around five seconds). You might be able to destroy him once he goes back to his original location.

\n\n

\n\n

Build Up Your Defense

\n\n

\n\n

If you want to reduce Yone’s damage in team fights, you have to build your defenses. In other words, you must buy defensive items to make sure Yone doesn’t harm you as much.

\n\n

\n\n

In terms of net worth, Yone might get ahead of you. However, this is no reason for you to despair – simply prioritize your armor over everything else.

\n\n

\n\n

Select Your Champions

\n\n

\n\n

Champions with crowd control usually have an advantage over Yone, which is why choosing the best character is crucial.

\n\n

\n\n

If you select a champion with crowd control, Yone will probably have trouble trying to get in and out of the clash and perform aggressive plays.

\n\n

\n\n

Nonetheless, you should also remember that Yone is immensely fast. Therefore, you must choose champions with easy-to-land crowd control skills.

\n\n

\n\n

Don’t Group on Clashes

\n\n

\n\n

Among all the League of Legends characters, Yone has one of the strongest ultimates. With crowd control effects and mixed damages, you must know how your team has to act if you don’t want everyone to get killed.

\n\n

\n\n

Overall, your team must consider that Yone should never lock them down. If he does, you’re probably dead.

\n\n

\n\n

There is a way to avoid this, though. Your team has to make sure that they’re not too closely when they’re fighting. Thus, if he uses his ult, you might have enough space to run away.

\n\n

\n\n

At the same time, you must avoid being in chokepoints. Some examples of this are the dragon camp, inside the Baron’s pit, and the jungle camps. Being on these places means Yone can use his ultimate and get rid of your entire team with crowd control.

\n\n

\n\n

Make Use of Rage Advantage

\n\n

\n\n

The last step of this guide is to use rage advantage since it gives you some benefits in melee fights.

\n\n

\n\n

If you suddenly find yourself with an angry Yone, try to take advantage of it and force him down your lane. This should delay his items and leave you a lot of room to cross out objectives while he’s offline.

\n\n

\n\n

To Wrap Up

\n\n

\n\n

Countering Yone might be immensely challenging for some players, but there are some strategies that you can use to defeat him. Now that you know a few, try them out!

\n\n

\n\n

If you are looking to max out your champion masteries, look no further!

\n\n

\n\n

Are you confident in your ability to win lane now? Sign up for the next clash with a team of boosters at your side!

People in the League of Legends world have heard about the infamous L9 club. This article tells you what you need to know about it, including who its members are.

\n\n

\n\n

What Is It?

\n\n

\n\n

If you are in the League of Legends community, you must have heard about the L9 club. The term ‘L9’ is short for Low Nine, which is basically a European club of the best League of Legends players who are immensely toxic.

\n\n

\n\n

Even though all the players on L9 are considered to be the best League of Legends gamers, everyone knows how toxic they are, especially when things don’t go their way when they’re playing.

\n\n

\n\n

How Did It Become Famous?

\n\n

\n\n

The L9 club initially started with RatIRL and 0bsess, according to a lot of people. They wanted to gain fame and traction on social media platforms, and they managed to achieve that on Twitter.

\n\n

\n\n

At first, the L9 club became immensely famous on Twitter because of the toxic nature of its members. Although they were the best LOL players, they would often spam ‘xd’ and question marks, which entertained people.

\n\n

\n\n

Raw talent combined with a toxic nature is what defines the members of the L9 club. When it became famous, Ap0calypse and Selfmademan joined, and this made its popularity increase even more.

\n\n

\n\n

Eventually, the L9 club became so impressive that the original members started to sell spots for other people to join. Furthermore, some gamers tried to start fake L9 clubs, and nowadays, others include L9 in their tags to show their toxic nature.

\n\n

\n\n

Who Are Its Members?

\n\n

\n\n

The L9 club started with two members, then two more joined and it had four. They tried to sell the spots on the club, but the original four gamers are the most important ones for the club’s fame, so here they are:

\n\n

\n\n

RatIRL

\n\n

\n\n

With nearly half a million followers on twitch, RatIRL is the most famous member of the L9 club. He often played ranked duos with Ap0calypse, and people know him because of his overly emotional reactions, particularly when things don’t happen the way he wants them to in-game.

\n\n

RatIRL is the primary source of drama with the L9 club, and people consider him to be the most toxic player in there.

\n\n

\n\n

You can learn more about RatIRL in our dedicated article.

\n\n

\n\n

Ap0calypse

\n\n

\n\n

Unlike RatIRL, Ap0calypse has stayed out of the social media radar. Therefore, everyone knows he’s immensely talented, but you can only see him playing with others, dominating ranked queues.

\n\n

\n\n

Selfmade or Selfmademan

\n\n

\n\n

With a carry jungler playstyle, Selfmade took the professional route when it comes to streaming and gaming, which is something that Ap0calypse never did.

\n\n

\n\n

He is very successful and managed to jungle for Fnatic, who performed immensely well in the Worlds tournament of 2020. Since he has a playstyle that compliments his teammates, he will likely keep playing with Fnatic.

\n\n

\n\n

Obsess

\n\n

\n\n

Instead of going for social media fame, 0bsess took the professional route just like Selfmade did. He is now very successful and numerous teams have signed him, for example, Misfit Gaming and Gamers Origin.

\n\n

\n\n

L9 Today

\n\n

\n\n

Nowadays, the original four don’t really talk to each other. People see the L9 club as a joke in the League of Legends community and understand that each of its members has formed their own gaming career.

\n\n

\n\n

These were some of the most infamous players to date, you can read about the legendary AD carry “Uzi”, who many consider to be the best to ever play the role here.

As you start playing League of Legends, you want to move quickly through the levels so that you get more power and fun. There isn’t just one way to level up quickly, and this guide tells you how to level up your LoL account fast, whether you want to pay money or do it free.

\n\n

\n\n

Here are a few things to note:

\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\n\n

Fastest – Turbolvling

\n\n

\n\n

The overall fastest way to level up in LoL is to buy the 10 Wins XP Boost and the 40 Wins XP Boost with the three-day XP Boost. This costs about $33. That might not be enough, so you can play 15 to 20 games of the Summoner’s Rift Blind Pick and Howling Abyss for that three-day boost. Doing that three days in a row and winning most of the games gets you to level 30 very quickly!

\n\n

\n\n

Slowest – Efficient Leveling

\n\n

\n\n

While your goal is to level up faster, you may want to take your time and enjoy the gameplay. This method is free, but it takes longer than classic leveling. It focuses on playing one winning game to abuse the First Win of the Day bonus each day. You do nothing else, and it guarantees that you get roughly 400 Experience each day.

\n\n

\n\n

With this, you should level up to 30 in 100 days or three months.

\n\n

\n\n

The Secret Method

\n\n

\n\n

There is another method to level up your account, which is a hybrid of the last two mentioned. It costs about $22, which is less than the Turbolvling method and takes less time than the first-win bonus option.

\n\n

\n\n

Some people level up to 30 in 50 days, or about two months. Account sellers level up accounts like this and do so because it’s time- and cost-efficient. They purchase the 40-win boost option and play a winning game each day to use the boost experience bonus and first-win bonus efficiently.

\n\n

\n\n

With this method, account sellers level up 15 accounts all at once. Then, they profit from that.

\n\n

\n\n

If you aren’t looking to make money but want to level up fast, you can purchase one of these accounts and start at Level 30.

\n\n

The recent triumph of EDward Gaming at the Worlds 2021 is more than just a championship for the team and many other people in China.

\n\n

\n\n

During the evening of November 16th, 2021, people met outdoors with a tinge of hope. Why is this, you ask? Well, their favorite team EDG found themselves on the cusp of winning the Summoner's Cup in the grand finals next to Korea's DWG KIA.

\n\n

\n\n

Few expected them to put up much of a fight against the defending champions, and rightfully so. EDG arrived at this stage as the number one competitor of their respective league, which can be expected for any team to do if put in that position.

\n\n

\n\n

EDG hobbled their way to the finals through an underwhelming end to their group stage and two consecutive grueling series, unlike DWG, who carried plenty of steam from their current Worlds run.

\n\n

\n\n

Nevertheless, the momentous qualification of the finals got the spirits of fans undoubtedly high. After nearly 10 years in the LPL, which saw them appear on the Worlds many times and win six domestic titles, the team finally reached the stage fans had always envisioned.

\n\n

\n\n

Even though there was still a reason to worry about whether EDG would be able to complete their extraordinary journey, they defeated tough opponents from Gen.G to Royal Never Give Up before facing DWG.

\n\n

\n\n

Most fans expected the magic of EDG to expire just then and there. That is why the score was behind 2-1 during the series.

\n\n

\n\n

The team's wariness was on the ideology of the fans being right. However, to the fans' surprise, the team started playing above expectations just before EDG was done with the tournament.

\n\n

\n\n

EDG vs. DK

\n\n

\n\n

EDG overran DWG to force Game 5 by facing eliminations through an excellent early game and crucial smite fight wins. That was the second time ever in World's grand final history.

\n\n

\n\n

EDward Gaming decisively continued that pressure and performed some of the most remarkable runs in the tournament's history. Through their effort, they were awarded the Summoners Cup and crowned the league's king.

\n\n

\n\n

The team states that \"We feel like all our efforts have finally paid off.\" EDG support, Meiko, also spoke at a post-series press conference and said it was the happiest moment in his career.

\n\n

\n\n

Thousands of Chinese fans celebrate their achievement in various locations as the team huddled in jubilation. This includes some individuals that were half naked running with the EDG flag in their hands. College dormitories served as gambling locations where incalculable bets were being paid.

\n\n

\n\n

One of the most exciting things about the win was the stadium. It was packed with thousands of fans that cheered and led their team to victory. You can compare this even to something similar to a significant event like the Olympics.

\n\n

\n\n

Conclusion

\n\n

\n\n

China is ubiquitously known for its love for Esport, which showed in the unbridled emotion displayed by the fans of EDward Gaming. People, old and young, gathered to celebrate the team's win, and we can't wait to see where EDG ends up in the next Worlds Championship.

Riot Games has started an investigation into allegations against Team SoloMid CEO and founder Andy “Reginald” Dinh. People claim that he has been using bullying and verbal abuse in his dealings with others. WIRED was the first to hear about it and report it, contacting Riot Games specifically.

\n\n

\n\n

As part of the response to WIRED, Riot Games claimed that it must conduct an independent investigation into the claims of misconduct made against the team leader. To do that, it engaged the O’Melveny & Myers LLP Law Firm.

\n\n

\n\n

Reginald, AKA “Regi,” now faces the investigation into his bullying allegations.

\n\n

\n\n

The Complicated Legacy for Reginald

\n\n

\n\n

Regi is a former player, CEO, and founder for Team SoloMid, which is now being called TSM FTX. Though TSM operates in many games, such as Apex and Valorant, its most significant one is the League of Legends team. It’s been part of LoL and LCS since its inception and was a staple on the scene before that.

\n\n

\n\n

The abuse and bullying allegations against Regi are many and have common threads. For instance, employees spoke with WIRED and claimed that Dinh didn’t use normal criticism. Instead, he resorted to insults like saying, “You’re trash.” Employees claimed that behavior created a fear culture in the organization.

\n\n

\n\n

Regi downplayed the allegations, saying they’re symptoms of his direct attitude and bluntness. He said that his vocabulary was too harsh or ineffective at times. Overall, he knew he had to work on delivery and communicating more effectively with his team and others.

\n\n

\n\n

Bullying Under Our Noses

\n\n

\n\n

However, such allegations are no surprise to people familiar with the documented history for TSM. Anyone can search on YouTube to find videos of Regi shouting with players, using boxing matches to resolve team disputes, and publicly berating the teammates.

\n\n

\n\n

While they might be used for laughs or have a light-hearted undertone, it’s hard to imagine that his persona onscreen doesn’t match or transfer to what happens in real life.

\n\n

\n\n

Most teams streamed a lot in the early days when LCS was beginning. It was common to find post-scrim arguments, team confrontations, and conflicts.

\n\n

\n\n

While the past videos were likely entertaining, they might now be documenting the malicious side of TSM. Riot Games could pursue legal action against Andy Dinh if he’s found guilty of the allegations. If so, it should have tons of evidence to help the case.

\n\n

\n\n

Plus, this isn’t the first time that Riot Games had to put sanctions on Dinh. He had “conduct unbecoming” back in March of 2021, which got him a $5,000 fine. This was in response to a Tweet he made against Philippe Vulcan Laflamme, a Cloud9 player at the time. Dinh claimed that Laflamme would have been out of a job if LCS hadn’t come along.

\n\n

\n\n

Conclusion

\n\n

\n\n

The investigation into Dinh’s behavior is still ongoing. There’s no news about it so far, so we can only hope that they are still looking into it. With TSM Reginald investigated by LCS, it looks to be that people are standing up for their rights to work in a safe and comfortable setting. Yelling, screaming, and boxing matches aren’t the way to handle disputes anymore (though they shouldn’t have been used in the first place).

\n\n

Lee “Faker” Sang Hyeok is widely considered the best LoL player of all time and continues to cement that top spot in the game. Overall, he and his team, T1, have set and broken more records early this 2022 season.

\n\n

\n\n

Largely because of Faker, T1 is already the most decorated team in League of Legends history. In fact, it’s the only team that won three World Championships, two of which were back-to-back wins.

\n\n

\n\n

With that, the team got two different Mid-Season Invitational wins and many Korean championships.

\n\n

\n\n

Overall, T1 had a very strong performance at the Worlds in 2021, even though DWG KIA won the 2020 World Champions. Then, Edward Gaming, a Chinese team, took the Summoner’s Cup last year after a win against DAMWON KIA.

\n\n

\n\n

Still, 2022 looks to be one of the best years for the organization, with Faker at the helm. Despite the earliness of the season, this team has already broken records within two months of the newest season. Here are some things to note:

\n\n

\n\n

14-0 Win Streak for T1

\n\n

\n\n

Faker and T1 are undefeated for the 2022 LCK Spring Split. After the match with KT Rolster, the superstar and his team matched the record for the winning streak, which he set back in 2015 (under the name of SKT).

\n\n

\n\n

Faker, along with Ryu “Keria” Min-Seok, Lee “Gumayusi” Min-Hyeong, Moon “Oner” Hyeon-Joon, and Choi “Zeus” Woo-Je, took the 14th win of the season for the Group Stage tie.

\n\n

\n\n

Though KT Rolster tried to choke out T1 in the jungle, T1 took control of every match and ended with a 2-0 streak.

\n\n

\n\n

70th Champion Play for the LCK

\n\n

\n\n

You may not realize it, but Faker set two records in the last few months. He locked in with Trynadamere in the match against DRK, making him the 70th champion to be used in the LCK and the 74th in his entire career.

\n\n

\n\n

Corki was the main problem from the beginning of the season. However, the G.O.A.T. proves that Barbarian King is a great counter against the Daring Bombardier.

\n\n

\n\n

Counting on the lack of crowd control for Corki, Faker pushed back and clocked eight kills within the match. This set up his game-winning assault for his team.

\n\n

\n\n

Though Faker is known for his mastery of LeBlanc, Orianna, and Azir, he has made some oddball selections. Trynadamere is the fourth one Faker played professionally once and won with once. The other three were Vex, Poppy, and Olaf. Faker’s also played other champions like Lux, Quinn, Kayle, and Darius, once, but he lost with those and never picked them again.

\n\n

\n\n

2,500 Kills

\n\n

\n\n

On March 3, Faker beat another record in the match with Gen.G. He got his 2,500th kill with the LeBlanc pick. He’s the only pro player in LoL to get this record, though Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu from DRX has over 2,000.

\n\n

\n\n

Conclusion

\n\n

\n\n

If you’re ready for some action in League of Legends, you can’t go wrong with Faker. In fact, Faker is still breaking records with T1, and that doesn’t appear to be stopping anytime soon. T1 might even take the Summoner’s Cup this year if they continue their amazing performance!

\n\n

\n\n

Meta Description: While you might have a specific favorite LoL player, there’s something to be said for Faker. In fact, Faker is still breaking records with T1, and we’ve got the low-down!

Bjergesn is a League of Legends veteran player with over nine years of experience in the field. He's had a very successful career as a player and coach for all these years, but he recently decided not to continue his path as a coach, as he wishes to return to pro-playing this upcoming season.

\n\n

\n\n

This article is meant to showcase everything about his return and career projections for 2022. If you want to know more about this, please stay and keep reading.

\n\n

\n\n

Bjergsen's Big Return

\n\n

\n\n

Even though he had previously played with TSM for the majority of his career, this time, he didn't show up as a member of their team. Instead, he is going to be playing with Team Liquid, which represents a huge new step in this star's career.

\n\n

\n\n

Bjergsen has proved his worth with this new team on their first battle together, as he claimed nine of the team's 11 kills of the day.

\n\n

\n\n

However, this situation has taken a massive toll on TSM, as Bjergsen had been one of the team's foundations for so many years, and he even had part ownership of it. Nonetheless, his contract ended last November, and since then, he has been creating a new career path in different horizons.

\n\n

\n\n

Firstly, he considered leaving his life-long position in the mid-lane, as he wished to experiment with a different perspective of the game.

\n\n

\n\n

Nonetheless, what ended up bringing that spark to his career wasn't leaving his loved position in the mid-lane but doing it in a different team. This time the Team Liquid had the incredible luck to have such a talented player like him on their roster, which has been paying off and pushing the team up in the scores.

\n\n

\n\n

It was a challenge to come back to the field after retiring for a year, as many coaches tend to think they can easily come back and be as good and agile as always, but that's rarely the case. Bjergsen had to prove himself he had what's needed to return to competitive gaming, but to do that, he had to go through intensive training of up to 10 hours of playing.

\n\n

\n\n

However, that wasn't enough for him. He ended up taking an intensive Bootcamp in Korea to get back in shape, where he would intensively dedicate himself to the learning phase and test his limits to see if he still had the endurance needed to train like a pro.

\n\n

\n\n

Bottom Line

\n\n

\n\n

Bjergsen is only one of the incredible pro-gamers we are going to be seeing in professional gaming this 2022, and he is back into the field to prove to us why we should keep an eye on him for the rest of his career.
